Located just twenty-five minutes away from our San Francisco hotel by car, Lands End is a scenic lookout that offers incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Point Bonita, and the Marin Headlands. Set within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, where the Pacific Ocean enters the San Francisco Bay, Lands End also provides great opportunities for whale watching. The trails are a bit steep and winding, so be ready for a light workout. Visitors can also wander the ruins of the Sutro Baths, the remains of a San Francisco family swimming and amusement center dating back to the 19th century.
