Vive La Revolution
On July 14, 1789, the Bastille, an impenetrable symbol of the Royal authority in France, was overtaken, marking a major turning point in The French Revolution. Now, the 14th of July is a national holiday, and there are Bastille Day celebrations that occur all over the world. On July 13, the Official Committee of French-American Organizations of Northern California will be putting on a Bastille Day Celebration at the Embarcadero Plaza.
