On Saturday, August 17, Noise Pop will once again present the annual 20th Street Block Party. This incredible street festival offers free admission and is open to all ages. The fun starts at noon, and there will be live music, delicious food, and plenty of cold drinks available all day long. Plus, all the proceeds for this year’s 20th Street Block Party will go to 826 Valencia, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and young adults strengthen their writing skills. The 20th Street Block Party takes place in the heart of the Mission District, just 15 minutes from Alpine Inn & Suites. This year’s performers include a wide variety of artists like Alex Cameron, Roy Molloy, Speedy Ortiz, Sasami, Hello Yello, Pity Party, Shutups, and Zola. With a lineup like that, you know that people will be dancing all day long and well into the night.
