Hello, Halloween
Halloween is right around the corner, and, even though things are a little different this year, we hope you're just as excited as we are. To celebrate this spooky holiday at home there's one activity that's sure to bring the spirit: carving pumpkins. To find the perfect pumpkin during your San Francisco stay, you will want to visit the oldest pumpkin patch in the Bay Area, Clancy’s Pumpkin Patch. The new location near the San Francisco Zoo is only about 5 miles from the Alpine Inn & Suites. Clancy’s, which first opened in 1979, has pumpkins of all shapes and varieties including munchkin pumpkins for the little ones, traditional orange pumpkins, and even white, blue, and striped pumpkins. Plus, they have plenty of gourds and corn stalks to help you complete your Halloween decorating. The pumpkins at Clancy’s are perfect for making into jack o’ lanterns, putting into pies, or just setting on the front porch for the entire autumn season.
